This is a great place to sit down and eat or to just pop in and have a drink or two. The portions are generous, seafood is delectable, and the staff second to none. The place could use a bit more Amink, but other than that it’s a must visit. 5/5 stars.
Daniel TompkinsExcellent oysters on the half shell. It's more like a small tavern with limited high top seating and a VERY boisterous atmosphere on a Friday in the hours leading up to happy hour. The food was fantastic and the manager (owner, host?) is a VERY friendly, sociable guy who tossed a few free samples our way. Would definitely go again if I were going out with a group of friends (not my father who I don't see regularly) and I were in the area. I didn't sample their drink menu but everyone who did seemed pleased with their orders and their mixed drinks sounded amazing. A definite must in the summer, I'd imagine. We got a take home order for my husband and he was upset he didn't play hooky for the experience. He LOVED the crab cakes.

Steven RabinovichNot only was the chowder cold , the “skyscraper” was only one level, no vinegar served on the side at a raw bar what the actual efff…,the bartender made all the locals drink at the bar before us even tho we ordered first… the bartender didn’t only forget about us but didn’t know of any of the specialty cocktails.. when we were done with our food.. we had to wait Atleast 20 minutes for the chef to clear our table because the busboy was incapable of doing his job aswell … like I said won’t be back

Chloe MilfordYesterday we had a small family gathering at Moby Dick’s. We had reserved a table for 10 and were promptly greeted and brought to our table. The staff immediately made us feel right at home and gave us an amazing experience. The ambiance of Moby Dick’s has a nautical themed decor that is welcoming and charming. The food was excellent. We enjoyed everything from Bloody Mary’s, oysters, shrimp cocktail, lobster sliders, flatbreads, and cheesecake. Top notch food, atmosphere and staff. We are so fortunate to have Moby Dick’s as an addition to the West Haven center. I highly recommend it.
Deb RothPlace is awesome oysters are as fresh as can be lobster sliders are dynamite its definitely a gem for sure. If your in the area definitely do not over look this place you won't be disappointed
